Experience Spirit-Filled Worship at
the Church of the Village

Siyahamba: South African Freedom Song - a musical collaboration for a joint worship service on August 30, 2020.

We have fully re-engaged our building for worship and are committed to growing as both an online and onsite community! If you’re in the NYC area, we look forward to seeing you in person. No matter where you are spiritually or geographically, you are welcome here!

Our worship is alive and dynamic and you’ll find that no two services are ever the same. We observe Holy Communion every Sunday, engaging different voices from the congregation to lead us in this sacrament. We also offer a time for healing prayer every week, for those seeking healing, wholeness, or blessing for themselves or others.

We believe that all are welcome to participate in Communion, healing prayer, and any aspect of our community life no matter your age, gender expression, sexual orientation, background, or spiritual path. As an open and affirming Methodist church, the Church of the Village is part of a long tradition of radical inclusivity for all, especially those in the LGBTQIA+ community.
