Music and Dance – Using The Arts to express the Spirit in Worship is a hallmark of our church.  We celebrate with all types of music (Spirituals, traditional, Contemporary, Bluegrass  , Jazz, Spanish, Rock and Rap) performed by our Choir, soloists, instrumentalists and dancers.  Add your voice by joining us!

Hope for our Neighbors in Need – An outreach ministry of The Church of the Village.  Activities include providing meals to more than 425 people every week, offering a food pantry, writing/art workshop, and counseling on housing, work, healthcare, immigration and legal issues. If you would like to help us prepare and serve meals as part of our weekly feeding program, please email our volunteer coordinator.  There is additional information on the  Outreach Coordinator’s page.

Prayer Chain –We are a community that believes in the power of prayer. The Church of the Village has a dedicated prayer team that prays for the joys and concerns of members and friends of our community and for those of our city, state, and world.  The prayer chain receives requests for prayer at each Sunday service and by email.

Ministers of Care are church members who have been selected by the church pastors  to assist in caring for all who consider the Church of the Village their spiritual home.  The Ministers of Care group is divided geographically so that in each of the boroughs and New Jersey, there are Ministers of Care who have been assigned to care for all of the members and friends of the church.
